Shoot for the moon and play among the stars, as the Las Cruces Museum of Art hosts a night for singles to mingle.  On Wednesday, January 18, 2012 - join us for an evening of fun, food, and great conversation.  The festivities begin at 6:30pm and conclude at 8:30pm

Meet new people and mingle with one another as you tour the museum’s current show “NASA|ART: 50 Years of Exploration” and then go outdoors to launch Nerf Rockets (we provide the missiles). As the exhibition comes to a close this may be your last chance to see works of art that offer unparalleled insight into the private and personal moments, and the triumphant victories that form the storied history of NASA.

“NASA | ART” is organized by SITES and NASA in cooperation with the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum. The local presentation is sponsored by the Las Cruces Museum of Natural History and the Las Cruces Museum of Art.

Funded by the City of Las Cruces, the Las Cruces Museum of Art is located at 491 N. Main Street next to Branigan Cultural Center.  Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday 9:00 am to 4:30pm.  The Museum is closed Sundays and Mondays.   For more information, call (575) 541-2137 or visit the website www.las-cruces.org/museums
