Works from a Dona Ana County Sculpture Class at the Branigan Cultural Center

The Branigan Cultural Center presents Works from a Dona Ana County Sculpture Class, an exhibition of works by local student artists.  This showcase is on display from Friday, February 3, 2012 through Saturday, February 25, 2012.  An artists’ reception with light refreshments takes place at the Branigan Cultural Center from 5:00pm – 7:00pm, Friday, February 3, during the monthly Ramble.

The mission of these artists is to “…continually improve their skills while having an open mind about the creative process.”  Many started testing their talents by working primarily in clay but they broadened their creative horizons to work in other media including painting and ceramics.  Join us in supporting local artists as they expand their interests and skills.

The Branigan Cultural Center is located at 501 N. Main Street. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 9am to 4:30pm. For more information, contact the Branigan Cultural Center at (575) 541-2154 or visit the Center’s web site at lascruces.org/museums.
